Job summary

Randstad Technologies in Manchester is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer (Contract) to build, maintain, and scale native iOS features. You will work in a fast-paced team on short development cycles, integrating backend-driven UI and shipping production-ready code with minimal onboarding.

The role requires strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, hands-on MVVM architecture, Xcode, and REST/GraphQL.

Qualifications

• Extensive iOS development experience with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Proficient in MVVM, Xcode and REST/GraphQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, unit testing and debugging production issues.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows (Claude, Codex).

Responsibilities

• Develop native iOS features from design to release using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and backend-driven UI architectures.
• Write clean, testable code, maintain unit tests, and debug production issues.
• Monitor app stability using crash reporting and observability tools.
