Job summary

X4 Technology are partnering with a leading energy trading firm on a major Azure Databricks transformation, offering an experienced Full Stack Developer the chance to join a high-profile Trading Technology team in London.

This hands-on role focuses on React.js front-end and Node.js back-end, with exposure to Python, Azure, CI/CD and cloud deployment as you work with Databricks Engineers to enhance trading applications and APIs.

Qualifications

• Proven Full Stack development experience with React.js and Node.js.
• Experience building backend APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to Python, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Trading/energy/commodities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality UI components in React.js.
• Develop backend APIs, services, and microservices in Node.js.
• Deploy applications via cloud services and CI/CD (Azure).
• Bridge data and application layers for intuitive UX.
• Contribute to design patterns and engineering standards.
• Drive performance, resilience, observability, and reliability.
• Support code reviews and Agile delivery.
