We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with active SC Clearance to join a high‑performing engineering team delivering secure, scalable services for a major government programme. You’ll play a key technical role in shaping, building, and maintaining critical digital products, using modern cloud and development practices.

The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll act as a technical specialist across one or more services—designing and developing features, resolving bugs, and improving documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with the Engineering Team Lead to define a clear technical vision and roadmap, while mentoring engineers and promoting modern software delivery practices. You’ll be hands‑on across the stack, from front‑end development in React and TypeScript through to backend services in NodeJS and Python, leveraging AWS infrastructure and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality, secure software features and services
• Lead on the design of product components and modules
• Participate in code reviews, pairing, and collaborative “swarming” sessions
• Manage and support in‑hours triage, incidents, and bug fixes
• Drive modern engineering standards, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Mentor Engineers and Associate Engineers
• Contribute to releases and continuous improvement initiatives
