Job summary

Ekco is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define and govern the site technology architecture for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in a regulated GxP environment. You’ll lead across IT/OT, automation, MES, LIMS, QMS, and engineering to ensure compliant, secure, and efficient production.

You’ll shape reference architectures, roadmaps, risk assessments, and lifecycle controls, partnering with Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, Cybersecurity, and supplier teams to protect product quality,

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing Systems, or related discipline.
• TOGAF or architecture certification desirable.
• Experience with GxP, GMP, data integrity, validation lifecycle principles.
• Experience with ISA-95, Purdue-style manufacturing models is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site architecture vision, principles, standards, reference architectures, integration patterns, and roadmaps across IT/OT, automation, manufacturing, and enterprise platforms.
• Translate site strategy and regulatory expectations into target-state architectures and transition plans.
• Provide architecture governance for site GxP systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and data integrity.
• Lead IT/OT convergence across pharma production environments and integration between ERP, MES, LIMS, QMS, WMS, and shop-floor systems.
• Define patterns for validated systems including electronic batch records, audit trails, access controls, and lifecycle management.
