A major facilities management organisation seeks an experienced Contract Director to lead large-scale FM transformations across the UK government estate. This home-based role involves managing a team of 250, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FM transformations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to travel nationwide as needed. Competitive salary of £85,000 plus travel expenses.

Are you a proven Contract Director experienced in leading large-scale FM and Technical Services transformations across complex estates? This is an exciting opportunity to join a major facilities management organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract, driving operational excellence and transformation across a key UK Government estate.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take full accountability for the delivery, transformation, and performance management of FM services across 23 sites nationwide. You'll lead a team of 7 direct reports and oversee a wider team of around 250, ensuring consistent service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and contract compliance.
This role will focus heavily on transformation, mobilisation, and operational improvement — ensuring technical and soft FM services are aligned with the client's strategic objectives.
