The role operates at board level while remaining close to delivery teams to influence technical decisions. The successful candidate will blend deep technical expertise with commercial acumen to shape technology strategy, modernise platforms, improve engineering capability and ensure technology investments deliver
Qualifications
- Minimum CTO-level leadership experience or equivalent
- Proven track record delivering large-scale technology transformations
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience leading software engineering and architecture functions
- Knowledge of AI, data platforms, automation and modern app development
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level influencing skills
- Experience in fast-paced enterprise or consulting environments
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap across the organisation.
- Provide architectural oversight across applications, infrastructure, cloud, data and security.
- Establish governance, standards and best practices in technology.
- Lead architecture reviews and modernisation initiatives and drive DevOps maturity.
- Guide teams on scalable, resilient and high-performance solutions.
- Support cloud adoption, migration, and optimisation programmes.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and translate tech to business outcomes.
- Mentor technology leaders and strengthen internal capability.
