Contract Controller

Reporting into the Contract Services Manager, the Contract Controller will be responsible for providing support to a Contract Service team and/or internal/external Stakeholders, providing Performance, Financial and Commercial support for newly awarded fault maintenance contract, covering the South West region.

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the Pirin Court office, Canning Town E16 4TL 2 days per week, plus ad hoc travel to site and customer locations on occasion.

What you’ll do:
  • Ensuring that reporting is structured and accurate, documentation is submitted in accordance with Stakeholder requirements, processes are maintained or established/followed/documented and relevant databases/systems are correctly utilised
  • Support the Contract Review Process and being involved with contract updates and identification of risks/opportunities
  • Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
  • Achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Collation of Information required for "New Client Requests" and "Order Acceptance"
  • Performance, Financial and Commercial Reporting, inclusive of Actual vs Budget and Forecasting
  • Be the initial point of contact for Clients requiring Performance/Commercial/Financial clarity/resolution of disputes prior to escalation
  • Assist Contract Manager's with Oracle related tasks such as opening or extending Project tasks or assistance with the creation of a new project
Who you are:

You will have previous experience working on maintenance or similar type projects, along with excellent stakeholder and communication skills. You are highly organised, proactive and a strong team player.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in working within a Project Delivery/Operational maintenance environment
  • Demonstrable depth and breadth of experience in a similar, fast pace analytical customer facing role will be required
  • Strong proven ability to work under pressure and an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Good experience and awareness of financial and commercial processes
  • Good understanding & analysis of contract finances including profit and loss
  • Practical use of Finance and Document Management systems such as Oracle & UCM
