We’re hiring aCompliance & Contracts Managerto join our experienced Finance & Operations team - a pivotal role at the heart of our business, ensuring every contract placement and process runs smoothly and to the highest standard.

Working closely with our finance, sales and leadership teams, as well as external clients and contractors, you’ll be the first point of contact for all things contracts, IR35 and compliance. This is a varied, visible role for someone who values precision, takes pride in getting things right, and enjoys being a trusted link across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Contracts & Compliance

  • Manage end‑to‑end contractor onboarding, ensuring all contracts and compliance documentation are complete and accurate before project start.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams — resolving contractual queries, advising on calls, and maintaining strong relationships with umbrella companies.
  • Conduct IR35 assessments with clients, ensuring correct classification and robust record‑keeping.
  • Manage right‑to‑work, reference, and background checks in line with client and legislative requirements.
  • Proactively manage contract renewals, extensions, and terminations while ensuring all compliance processes meet GDPR and data protection standards.

Client Terms & Business Support

  • Review and manage client terms of business, ensuring all new and existing agreements meet internal and legal standards.
  • Support the sales team by reviewing client contracts prior to signature, flagging potential risks or required amendments.
  • Oversee client onboarding to ensure terms are approved and correctly filed before any engagement begins.

Operational Support

  • Support the finance and HR teams with documentation for invoicing, payroll, and employee records.
  • Maintain accurate and audit‑ready records using systems such as RSM Intime, Bullhorn, SharePoint, and DocuSign.
What we’re looking for:
  • Strong administrative or operational background with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a compliance, contracts, or operations role — ideally within recruitment, professional services, or a people‑led environment.
  • Understanding of GDPR, contractual language and contract management principles.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • A strong communicator who builds trust with colleagues and clients.
  • Familiarity with RSM Intime or Bullhorn is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of IR35 and/or GDPR regulations is beneficial — full training provided.

This role is based in our London office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week (following a probationary period) as part of our hybrid policy.
