Job description

TLT are searching for Contract Commercial Consultants to join the firm on a 6-month contract with potential of extension. The role will require hybrid working from our TLT Birmingham office and will be paid a day rate via an Umbrella Company.

Role Responsibility

As a Commercial Consultant you might be carrying out the following tasks;

  • Able to guide clients in understanding how to establish optimal commercial approaches throughout the Commercial lifecycle.
  • Ability to utilise your experience and contribute to translating a client’s vision into effective and realistic commercial solutions, including incentivisation.
  • Ability to deploy and/or optimise commercial management strategies, processes, tools, and systems.
  • Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders, at all levels.
  • Leading on above threshold procurements, including setting up framework agreements, procurement design, compliance, evaluation and moderation
The Ideal Candidate
  • Background in Procurement, Supply Chain or Cost & Commercial Management
  • Awareness of the commercial lifecycle and how this supports clients
  • Experience of large scale complex regulated procurements
  • Candidates qualified or working towards MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of leading and managing multiple projects and maintaining quality deliverables against challenging timelines
  • Ability to lease effectively with clients
  • Previous experience of working with or within the public sector on procurement matters
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills
  • Understanding and communicating the key strategic levers to enable successful outcomes and driven commercial environments for clients
