Job summary

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization seeking a Contract Analyst. You will prepare, verify and perform invoicing for an assigned portfolio, while contributing to contract management and collaborating with the Revenue team to ensure timely billing.

The role is full‑time with London-area commuting requirements. Applicants should have a Finance/Accounting background, site-level contracts exposure, and strong analytical and communication skills, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Experience with site-level contracts and Interactive costing tools.
• Prior CRO/pharma/academic contract-related experience.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel (~5%).

As a Contract Analyst at ICON, you will prepare, verify, and carry out invoicing via electronic processing and reporting activities for an assigned portfolio of accounts. You will contribute to contract management activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify and execute invoicing via electronic processing and reporting for an assigned portfolio of accounts.
• Balance and maintain client relationships.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Keep abreast of contract progression concerning invoicing units.
• Interact closely with the Revenue team to ensure timely billing and investigate discrepancies on assigned clients.

Your Profile

You will bring relevant contract management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Must have site‑level contracts and Interactive costing tool experience.
• Prior experience working in a contract‑related role within a CRO, pharmaceutical or academic environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%).
