As our Continuous Improvement & Systems Relationship Manager, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how we work, ensuring our systems and processes empower colleagues and delight customers.

This role is all about driving smarter, more efficient ways of working through automation, while building strong bridges between operational teams and technology partners. You'll be the voice of the colleague and customer in every system enhancement, making sure our tools serve real needs and deliver real impact.

Key responsibilities
  • Continuous Improvement Leadership
    • Identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service delivery.
    • Monitor and report on the impact of improvement initiatives using KPIs and feedback loops.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and redesign across operations, supply chain, and support functions.
    • Lead end-to-end process reviews to uncover inefficiencies and design automated solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to pilot, test, and scale automation initiatives.
  • Systems Relationship Management
    • Act as the strategic connector between operational teams and our WMS provider.
    • Ensure that both our automation provider and onsite teams are using our WMS effectively and report against deficiencies and find resolutions to ensure optimal system utilisation at all times.
    • Support the translation of business challenges into system requirements in a collaborative way, ensuring solutions are intuitive and scalable.
    • Support system upgrades, integrations, and rollouts with change management plans.
    • Champion usability and accessibility in all system designs, ensuring they work for everyone.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage store teams, support functions, and leadership to gather insights and feedback.
    • Facilitate workshops and forums to co‑create solutions with colleagues.
    • Influence decision‑makers with compelling data, stories and prototypes.
    • Ensure all initiatives align with our customer‑first and colleague‑centric strategy.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure all improvement projects align with regulatory standards, internal policies and strategic goals.
    • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all Automation and system changes.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity and operational standards.
    • Monitor risks and proactively address system or process vulnerabilities.
What you'll need to have
  • Proven experience in automation, process improvement or systems transformation – ideally in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of automation tools and platforms (e.g. RPA, workflow automation, low‑code/no‑code solutions).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Experience translating operational needs into technical requirements and working with IT or vendor teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems and measuring impact.
  • A collaborative, empathetic approach that puts people at the heart of every solution.
It would be great if you also have
  • Formal qualifications in Lean, Six Sigma or automation technologies.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum or other iterative delivery methodologies.
  • A background in change management.
  • A creative spark – able to bring ideas to life through storytelling, visuals or prototypes.
