Greater London (West)

Are you a passionate Continuous Improvement professional (seasoned or still progressing your career), ready to take on a key role within a global leader in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector? Our client is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their UK & Ireland team to drive significant, measurable improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you'll have the opportunity to directly influence a dynamic business and collaborate with a global network of continuous improvement professionals. Our client has a strong commitment to Continuous Improvement (CI) with a high level of global sponsorship, ensuring you have the support and resources to succeed.

What You'll Do

As a vital part of the operational excellence team, you will work with operational teams to identify and execute improvement projects. You will also deploy and embed proven continuous improvement (CI) techniques from a well-established global operational excellence program. Your role will be to challenge and engage people across all levels to drive improvements.

  • Lead and execute continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using tools like Kaizen, value stream mapping, and FMEA.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems to measure and manage operational performance.
  • Partner with operational and compliance teams to plan and execute improvements.
  • Mentor and coach staff on lean and continuous improvement mindsets.
  • Support the global Operational Excellence program across our sites.
What You'll Bring

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with experience in an operations environment, such as manufacturing, engineering or logistics, with a proven track record in a dedicated continuous improvement role. You don't need a background in FMCG to succeed here, as we are more interested in your expertise in Lean and/or Six Sigma.

  • A Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience facilitating and applying CI tools and methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and engage diverse teams to build relationships and influence change.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An understanding of data to drive decision-making.
  • An understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and cost analysis, is essential.
  • You will ideally have experience with manufacturing systems (e.g., BOMs, ERP, production planning) and an understanding of capacity optimisation.

If you are a driven individual with a passion for continuous improvement and a desire to make a significant impact in a global organisation, we want to hear from you.
