Job Description

We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at our Deeside site on a full time permanent basis!

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement across all areas of the contract. Identifying processes for improvement covering subjects such as safety, service, cost and quality and any other aspects.

Salary: £27,000-£35,000 per annum.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hour week.

Key Duties
  • Drive the continuous improvement (CI) strategy on site.
  • Lead and implement CI initiatives in conjunction with the site teams.
  • Analyse process performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Track and record benefits made.
  • Develop presentations to illustrate process improvements, recommendations and benefit results.
  • Develop current and future process flows to improve the functional areas. Support the business through the active participation in the implementation of new layouts, processes, technology and equipment.
  • To assist operations with projects as and when required.
Qualifications
  • LEAN and SIX SIGMA practitioner desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Change Management.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge in data extraction and analytics using Excel and other Microsoft software and databases to analyse large data sets.
  • WMS (warehouse management system) knowledge of system algorithms and how they work.
  • PC literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook, Power BI.
