JOB-Continuous ImprovementEngineer

LOCATION- Blaneau Gwent

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Role Overview

We are looking forContinuousEngineer on a permanent basis in theBlaneau Gwent area who has great leadership skills, is experienced with Lean manufacturing principles and methods with a passion for process improvements

  • Consultative approach with senior management providing expertise and justification

Key Responsibilities
  • Fosters a continuous improvement culture throughout the business
  • Build an ongoing improvement plan for each production area
  • Be able to prepare and conduct kaizen events across cross functional teams
  • Identify bottleneck areas of the business and drive process improvement tasks to streamline the processes
  • Identify any investment requirements by collecting data and preparing justifications and ROI
  • Lead the team in the use of all Lean tools and techniques such as 6S, VSM, Kanban, TPM, RCA and DOE
  • Develop and deliver appropriate training programmes and skills matrices.
  • Take ownership and drive a Lean culture throughout the business
