Job summary

Imerys UK is seeking a Continuous Improvement Champion to support operating teams across multiple sites, delivering training, coaching and data-driven improvements to drive long-term excellence.

You'll work with managers and supervisors, facilitate workshops, and use CI methods to identify opportunities and embed best practices, while travelling to sites across the UK as needed.

Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification, or currently working towards.
  • Experience in manufacturing/engineering/industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital tools.
  • A full, valid driving licence with the ability to travel independently to sites across the UK.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience in Change Management.

Job description

As the Continuous Improvement Champion, you'll be responsible for supporting operational teams across multiple UK sites to improve performance, build capability and embed continuous improvement practices. Working closely with managers and supervisors, you'll deliver training, facilitate workshops, coach teams and use data-driven insights to drive sustainable operational improvements and long-term business excellence.

Profile
Essential

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools such as VSM, OEE, TPM, SMED, DMAIC or PDCA.
