CNC Machinist – Heavy Machine Shop Experience

Are you a CNC Machinist looking for continental day shifts? Immediate Starts. We are currently recruiting for one of the UK's largest Defence Organisations and require CNC Machinists – Heavy Machine Shop experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Machines, reading and comprehending engineering drawings to ensure machined parts.
• Set up and operate CNC large gantry-based machines, retrieving and inputting CNC programs from the network as per the appropriate paperwork.
• Measure, examine, and visually inspect components to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometres and verniers according to drawing specifications.

Contract & Schedule

Ongoing contract positions working 12-hour days, 4 on 5 off, 5 on 4 on.

Pay

Rates of pay: Umbrella = £39.11 p/hr x 42 hours = £#removed# per week
