Directories-listed Construction team in London is seeking to recruit two contentious Construction lawyers – one of 0 to 2 and the other of 3 or more years’ PQE. The Construction team acts for real estate developers, government bodies, sponsors, funders, housebuilders, property investment companies, contractors, subcontractors and major engineering consultancies. They also act for the firm’s private clients on high value residential construction projects. The successful candidates can expect to have a significant level of responsibility and client contact, whilst working in a supportive and collaborative team. Both roles will involve acting for a wide range of national and international clients on complex and high value construction disputes, including UK adjudications, arbitrations and TCC litigation, as well as undertaking dispute advisory work including ADR (for example, mediation). You will also deal with a wide range of matters, such as final account and delay claims, quality of build claims, construction insolvency, bond claims, ACM cladding, other fire safety defects claims, professional indemnity and other insurance-related claims.
Qualified applicants will have experience of contentious construction work and, in particular, working on both UK adjudications and/or TCC litigation and/or arbitration and other forms of dispute avoidance/ resolution (mediation, expert determination etc.). If you are newly-qualified, you will have undertaken a seat in Construction law.
