Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Contentious Construction Associate (1-3 PQE) for a fast-growing mid-sized City firm. The role focuses on managing PI claims, defending liability actions, and advising insurers on coverage disputes.

Strong progression to senior associate and beyond is on offer, with a collaborative, supportive culture and good work-life balance. The successful candidate will have 1-3 PQE in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction and at least 1 year of contentious construction

Qualifications

• 1-3 PQE England & Wales or commonwealth qualified solicitor.
• At least 1 year contentious construction experience.
• Experience handling construction-related professional indemnity claims.

Our client is a fast growing and highly profitable mid-sized City law firm with a strong contentious construction practice and a sub team specialising in handling professional indemnity claims. acting for leading professional indemnity insurers and construction contractors and consultancies on claims against construction professionals such as surveyors, architects, project managers.

Role:

• Managing professional indemnity claims
• Defending liability claims including pre and post litigation
• Advising insurers on policy coverage relating to claim
• Adjudication
• Arbitration
