Location: Birmingham, Office-based

Contract: Full time, permanent contract (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience

Role Overview

Were hiring a Content & Social Media Specialist to create, manage, and deliver engaging content across email, web, blog, and social platforms.

This role combines hands-on content creation with day-to-day social media management, while also supporting strategy and campaign planning. Its an exciting opportunity for someone with a couple of years experience looking to take the next step in their career and make a visible impact in a fast-moving ecommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write and edit engaging email, social, website and blog content.
  • Create, schedule, and manage social media posts across multiple platforms.
  • Handle day-to-day channel management, including community engagement.
  • Support strategy development and campaign execution with the Head of Brand & Content.
  • Track and report on performance metrics, suggesting improvements.
  • Stay up to date with content, digital, and social media trends.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support wider team projects and cover responsibilities during absence.
Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 23 years experience in content and/or social media roles.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Experience creating and managing content calendars.
  • Confident with basic photography and video editing tools.
  • (Desirable) Graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe).
