A leading entertainment service is seeking a Manager of Content Protection in London. The ideal candidate will manage anti-piracy initiatives, including takedown processes and content protection strategies, leveraging intelligence to inform enforcement actions. The Opportunity
We are seeking a Manager of Content Protection to support Netflix’s global IP enforcement initiatives aimed at protecting the company’s world class content from piracy. The ideal candidate will have experience working on anti-piracy initiatives and be well versed in managing an effective notice and take down program, including experience working with content protection tools on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
In this role, you will manage the takedown process through DMCA notices and other analogous legal routes, review materials for fair use, lead the localization of our content‑protection strategy, and serve as a subject‑matter expert to our cross‑functional partners.
This role will play an important part in the team’s overall objective to minimize piracy’s impact on our growth. The ideal candidate will leverage intelligence gathered from enforcement actions and their subject‑matter expertise to help inform and optimize an effective content protection strategy.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Content Protection and is located in London.
