Job summary

Hey Studios is building a hardware and software platform for family-friendly, screen-free play in London. We seek a Content Producer to lead end-to-end development, ideation, testing, and direct creation of content that sparks imagination and strengthens family bonds.

You'll work at the boundary of digital and physical experiences, collaborating with writers, designers, engineers, and external studios, and you will be the first full-time producer, shaping culture and our content's direction.

Qualifications

• Background in creative production, game design, screenwriting, or media management.
• Experience as a creative producer on family titles across TV, video games, or board games.
• Launched and promoted work to family audiences.
• Understands what is appropriate and engaging for children of different ages.
• Can clearly communicate ideas and work within constraints, including technical limits.
• Comfortable with startup ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Deep interest in improving the lives of families and children.

Responsibilities

• Produce content for our platform that is engaging and fun.
• Own experiences end-to-end from scripts to sound design and physical objects.
• Direct and manage external partners such as writers and studios.
• Plan and manage schedules and budgets across experiences and stakeholders.
• Continuously validate content with families via testing.
• Prototype experiences with creator tooling alongside implementation engineers.
