Gigaton is seeking a Content Manager to turn complex ideas into engaging content across formats and to build Gigaton’s content engine. You’ll work with the Head of Marketing to execute and refine the current strategy, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure content resonates with technical audiences.
The role emphasizes clear communication, brand consistency, and the ability to scale content while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
At Gigaton, we’re on a mission to cut gigatonnes of carbon emissions from the world’s biggest emitting industries (like cement, steel and glass), by building autonomous AI control and optimisation systems that learn and leverage the physics of manufacturing. Our products run heavy industrial plants more efficiently, more stably, and with lower emissions in real time - laying the foundation for the next industrial revolution.

We’re looking for a Content Manager who can to turn complex ideas into content people want to engage with. You'll build, run and execute on Gigaton’s content engine to creating high-impact content across formats. At Gigaton we staunchly believe that brand matters. It has the ability to fundamentally change our trajectory. Our ability to communicate clearly, confidently and consistently is the cornerstone of our brand. Everything you make will tie back to establishing Gigaton as the definitive voice in Industrial AI.
You won’t be expected to set the full content strategy from day one. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to execute and improve the current strategy, build a repeatable content engine, and gradually take on more strategic ownership as the function grows. This will also involve close collaboration with Sales, Product, People and Engineering teams to produce content that resonates with technical audiences.
We're not looking for deep expertise in materials science or tech. We're looking for someone endlessly curious, who can get up to speed on technical topics fast. If you’re energised by making complicated ideas simple, and want to build something that matters, you'll fit right in.

Marketing Instincts - A discussion with Bronte, Head of Marketing, on your opinions, and read of the market. (45 mins, remote)
Portfolio working session with Bronte and another member of the marketing team. ****(90 mins, in person or remote but it’s nice to build rapport in person)
Portfolio review - A discussion and analysis of the pieces in your portfolio you’re most proud of. (45 mins)
Live task - Design and discuss how you’d build a content engine from scratch. (30 mins)
Operating principles interview - A meeting with two members of our wider team to discuss your past experiences, to understand how you would fit in with our operating principles. (1 hour, remote)
Meet the exec - an informal chat with one of our execs (30 minutes, in person/remote)
Paid half day – A half-day working with the team. The structure of the day will depend on candidate’s experience and the technical session. (half day, in person)
