An established industry player is seeking a talented Content Editor to enhance its gardening content. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and creating engaging articles that attract and retain a dedicated audience. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to develop content strategies, ensuring that your section meets the highest standards of quality and SEO best practices. Every year over 180 million gardening enthusiasts visit Gardeningknowhow.com to find the information and inspiration they need to achieve the garden of their dreams. With over 14,000 articles and more being published every day, our main site is a virtual encyclopedia of gardening information.
We're currently looking for Content Editors to join the Gardening Know How team, responsible for editing and writing content for our site.
As Content Editor at Gardening Know How, you'll deliver organic traffic growth to the site and create industry-leading content across all aspects of the garden category. You'll take a section of Gardening Know How’s content, edit it in line with our vision for our new platform, and publish it meeting latest SEO guidance as set by our in-house team.
You'll plan, commission, and create industry-leading content for your section, delivering top-quality content that is perfectly pitched at the Gardening Know How audience. You'll also contribute to the overall audience strategy, liaising with the Content Director, EIC, Deputy Editor, and other key stakeholders to identify appropriate keywords and build out content pyramids. Monitor audience traffic opportunities for the section.
