Full-time | Fully remote, UK-based | Occasional travel to Manchester
Another Avenue is a multi-award-winning, industry-led training provider based in Wilmslow.
We’ve supported more than 800 learners across 15 cohorts of DfE-funded Skills Bootcamps in digital marketing, content creation and business fundamentals, helping people build practical, industry-relevant skills they can take straight into the workplace.
We’ve recently launched our Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship, and we’re now looking for an experienced Content Creator Apprenticeship Trainer/Tutor to help us deliver it.
We’re big believers that the best training comes from people who genuinely understand the industry they’re teaching. Our programmes are designed to be practical, current and connected to what’s actually happening in content and digital right now.
This is a hands‑on teaching role for someone who combines strong content and digital experience with an understanding of apprenticeship delivery.
You’ll be responsible for delivering live online sessions to our Content Creator apprentices, providing 1:1 technical coaching, assessing their work and giving clear, useful feedback that helps them develop.
But this isn’t a role where you’ll simply be handed a finished curriculum and asked to deliver it.
Our Content Creator apprenticeship is still new, which means you’ll have a genuine opportunity to help shape how the programme is taught. You’ll contribute to session design, practical activities, resources and the overall learner experience as the programme develops.
We also know that content creation doesn’t exist in isolation. It overlaps constantly with social media, digital marketing, analytics, brand, SEO, paid social and wider campaign activity. While the Content Creator standard will be your main focus, someone who can connect what they’re teaching to that wider digital picture will bring real value to our apprentices.
Delivery is predominantly virtual, so we’re looking for someone who knows how to make online learning genuinely engaging. You should be comfortable facilitating discussions, demonstrating practical skills and adapting your teaching to apprentices with very different levels of confidence and experience.
We’re looking for someone with strong, hands‑on industry experience across content creation, social media, digital marketing or creative production, with recent examples and experience you can bring into your teaching.
You’ll have real depth across areas such as:
Experience across the wider digital marketing landscape, including SEO, paid social, email marketing, website content, photography, audience research and campaign delivery, would also be really valuable.
Alongside your industry experience, you’ll need previous experience working within apprenticeship compliance requirements, including assessing against apprenticeship standards, evidencing off-the-job training and maintaining accurate, audit-ready learner records on an e-portfolio system.
You’ll also need to be confident delivering virtually, able to assess work fairly and consistently, highly organised with marking and feedback, and comfortable adapting the way you teach depending on the learner in front of you.
Previous experience delivering the Level 3 Content Creator or Digital Marketing apprenticeship, preparing apprentices for Gateway and EPA, or contributing to curriculum development would be advantageous.
A Level 3 AET/PTLLS and/or assessor qualification such as TAQA, CAVA or A1 would also be beneficial.
If you know content inside out, understand what great apprenticeship delivery looks like and want the opportunity to put your stamp on a new programme, we’d love to hear from you.
