BBC Studios is offering a Content Creator Apprenticeship (Level 3) in London. This fixed‑term, full‑time apprenticeship spans 15 months and includes on‑the‑job training toward the Level 3 Content Creator qualification. The scheme blends practical workshops and learning blocks with a BBC‑led, collaborative team.

You will learn to plan, research, write, produce and edit content across platforms, while developing skills in photography, imaging, social media and SEO. London weighting applies.

The Content Creator apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the skills to create engaging, impactful content across a range of platforms. You’ll learn how to plan and develop creative ideas, research target audiences, and produce audio, visual and written content suitable for different channels.

This hands‑on, immersive programme combines practical workshops, interactive sessions, assignments and collaborative group projects. You’ll gain experience in creating, recording and editing video and audio content, while developing your planning, presentation and pitching skills. The scheme also provides a foundation in photography and imaging, social media and search engine optimisation (SEO), and website creation, giving you a broad understanding of modern digital content production.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT

As a Content Creator apprentice, this is brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute – you could expect to:

• Play a part in creating trusted, high‑quality content for BBC audiences.
• Grow your storytelling skills through hands‑on experience researching, writing, producing and editing content on a range of subjects.
• Develop your digital content skills by monitoring audience trends and creating content for social media platforms, including selecting and editing clips from programmes for use on social media platforms.
• Spot opportunities for digital content, including short clips, behind‑the‑scenes moments, interviews and talent‑led extras.
• Learn from experienced professionals, collaborate with expert teams and develop your career at the world’s largest public service broadcaster.

You’ll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means that as well as learning on your placement at the BBC, you’ll also attend learning blocks (up to a week at a time) with our learning provider, working towards an industry recognised apprenticeship qualification - Level 3 Content Creator.

Learning blocks will be a mixture of in‑person and virtual delivery, including attending instructor‑led workships, tutorial sessions, presentations and group work.
