CONTENT CREATOR / SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Hours: 4 days a week, open to flexibility discussions.

Location: South / South West* (*There is an office near Plymouth which you could work at on some days, or work from home if not local)

Salary: £35k - £40k, pro rata. Dependent on experience.

The Role

We’re looking for a Content Creator to join our growing team. This is a key role within the agency – a chance to bring ideas to life across content, social media and digital campaigns for clients in the marine and wider luxury lifestyle sectors.

You’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day social media accounts, ensuring everything we put out is creative, consistent and results‑driven.

This is a 4‑day‑per‑week role with flexible hours, ideal for someone who’s proactive, organised and passionate about delivering great work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management to a number of different clients, creating annual strategies and ensuring they are well executed.
  • Develop and manage digital and social media accounts across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) – a mix of B2B and B2C.
  • Plan, create and schedule engaging social content – from stories and posts to longer‑form campaigns.
  • Design supporting visuals and graphics using Canva, Adobe or similar tools.
  • Create and edit short‑form video content and reels that tell a story and capture attention.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyse results and report back with insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to develop integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Keep on top of social trends, tools and formats – and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table.
  • Attendance at client meetings and events on occasion.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management – ideally within an agency setting. At least 5 years of experience.
  • A strong creative eye – confident in designing visuals and editing video for social platforms.
  • Excellent storytelling skills and understanding of how to build brand voice and narrative online.
  • Excellent planning skills.
  • Good copywriting skills, adept for social media.
  • Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar.
  • Organised and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering great work.
  • Marine industry experience or passion is highly desirable – an understanding of the audience and aesthetic will set you apart.
