Job summary

The East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer in Content Creation at the Margate Digital campus. You will share industry experience, teach across Level 3–4, and guide students in video production, editing, sound and post-production.

You'll adapt approaches to meet individual needs and help learners achieve their full potential. Two salary scale points apply; starting at introductory scale with progression to the higher scale after a full academic year, subject to criteria and timing.

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for different audiences or clients.
• Ability to teach, train and assess students in practical learning environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach.
• Willingness to deliver engaging, industry-relevant lessons across Level 3 to Level 4 programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions in content creation and video production.
• Assess and support students to help them reach learning outcomes.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate sessions with an industry-relevant focus.
