Reporting to Head of Brand Marketing & Communications, working to support the Channel and Creative Manager this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, dynamic and creative individual to join the Global Brand & Client Department at McLaren Automotive. Execute the craft that makes McLaren's stories impossible to ignore. You will turn approved creative territories and storylines into high-quality, channel-ready assets - film, photography, social media assets, digital assets and retailer materials - delivered on time, on brand and optimized for performance. Embedded within Brand Marketing & Communications and working with the Manager, Channel & Creative, you partner closely with Social/Website/Configurator, Product Marketing & Communications, Campaigns and Media Communications to keep the creative engine running at pace. This role is the hands‑on heartbeat of McLaren's content operation: building, versioning and quality‑controlling assets that power launches and always‑on storytelling across markets, and deploying them to the teams to distribute. You convert master creative into platform‑specific executions that feel precise, modern and unmistakably McLaren – meeting accessibility standards and ultra‑luxury expectations for craft and discretion. You'll manage metadata, tagging, rights and embargo discipline in the DAM/CMS, package localisation‑ready toolkits for distributors/retailers. Your work ensures our content not only looks world‑class but also moves attention, consideration, test‑drives and orders.
What You'll Do
- Hands‑on design and creation of assets in line with brand guidelines for channels (retailer, social, events and digital)
- Support the Channel and Creative Manager in briefing creative agencies
- Asset adaptation & versioning: build channel‑native edits (ratios, durations, subtitles, thumbnails, cut‑downs) and copy variants from approved masters for social, web, configurator, retail screens and CRM – preserving craft, narrative integrity and brand voice.
- Quality control & brand guardrails: own pre‑publish checks (visual identity, typography, colour, sound mix, logo lockups, accessibility, inclusive language) and maintain an errors‑to‑zero mindset for live assets.
- Content packaging for markets: assemble localisation‑ready toolkits (asset menus, copy decks, alt text, subtitle files, transcreation notes, usage rights, do/don’t guidance) and manage upload/rollout via DAM/CMS. Track adoption and flag gaps proactively.
- Metadata, rights & embargo discipline: tag assets with smart metadata/taxonomy, expiry and territory rights; administer embargo schedules; coordinate secure distribution for sensitive launches and UHNW materials.
- Asset support for earned: provide Media Communications with press‑quality stills, b‑roll, captions, executive quote banks and credit lines; ensure review/program asset kits are complete and on time.
- Asset production for paid media activity
- Production operations: maintain project trackers, file‑naming conventions and version control; liaise with editors, designers and vendors; uphold delivery SLAs and post‑production hygiene for fast reuse.
- Approve minor channel‑specific adaptations and metadata/thumbnail selections within brand guardrails.
- Enforce embargo/rights compliance for content releases and request pause/escalation during brand‑safety or legal risks in alignment with Media Communications and Legal.
