Why Join the Team

We love audio and make lots of it – a rich mix of content spanning multiple genres including consumer, investigations, documentaries, pop music, religion and arts for Radio 1, 2, 4, 6 Music plus the World Service and BBC Sounds.

Content Assistants could be scheduled onto any of the output across Audio North. For your first placement we expect you’ll be scheduled onto Radio 4’s flagship series Loose Ends, a fast‑paced short‑turnaround entertainment title, as well as across a portfolio of other work.

You will be supporting the Producer and Assistant Producer with show production, research and administration tasks. If you’re obsessed with culture – especially radio, comedy and music and social media – then we are interested in hearing from you.
