Job summary

NBCUniversal in London is offering a 12-month internship within the Content Group. You will evaluate treatments, manage submissions, conduct research, and help pitch ideas for projects and emerging talent.

The role requires passion for a wide range of content, strong communication, organisation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will collaborate across UK and international teams, attend markets, and support deal preparation and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and passion for a wide range of content including music, documentary, comedy, theatre and live events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience commercially and creatively assessing content.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake admin duties.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating treatments, decks and screeners and providing feedback.
• Managing project submissions and acting as a central intelligence hub.
• Conducting research and pitching ideas for projects and talent.
• Researching potential new titles, genres, talents, brand and IP.
• Managing logistics for markets and festivals (e.g., Cannes, Berlin, TIFF, Sundance).
• Preparing internal pitch documents and forecast requests.
• Drafting offers and preparing new deals for Board Approval.
• Running P&Ls, comparables and drafting letters.
• Shadowing acquirers on deals and updating internal databases.
