Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Microbiology & Contamination Control Manager to lead, develop, and continuously enhance the site Contamination Control Strategy across CDMO operations. You will work with Manufacturing, MSAT and Quality to proactively identify, reduce and eliminate contamination risks across facilities and client processes.

The role requires strong aseptic expertise, cross-functional leadership and a track record in regulatory-aligned contamination control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10+ years’ experience in biologics or sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in a CDMO.
• Strong expertise in aseptic processing and cleanroom operations.
• Experience leading FMEA and cross-functional risk assessments.
• Solid understanding of global regulatory expectations related to contamination control.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of the site CCS aligned with global regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT and Quality to embed contamination controls.
• Design and deliver contamination control training and workforce readiness programs.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections as the contamination control SME.
• Drive continuous improvement through data trending, CAPA and risk-based decision making.
