Job summary

xander.vincere.io is seeking a qualified Contact Lens Optician for a busy optical team at the Trafford Centre, Manchester. The role is part-time (3 days a week: Tuesday to Thursday) with a focus on high-quality clinical care and patient satisfaction.

You will conduct fittings and aftercare, advise on lens options, and collaborate with Optometrists and staff to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• GOC-registered Contact Lens Optician.
• Experience in contact lens fitting and aftercare.
• Clinically confident with excellent attention to detail.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
• Friendly, approachable and able to build rapport with customers.
• Commercially aware while always putting patient needs first.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contact lens consultations, fittings, aftercare and assessments in line with professional standards.
• Provide expert advice on contact lens options to meet individual patient needs and lifestyles.
• Manage and support patients throughout their contact lens journey, ensuring they receive excellent clinical care.
• Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate contact lens products and solutions based on patient requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure all procedures comply with relevant regulations and professional standards.
• Work closely with Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants to provide a seamless patient experience.
• Support the wider store team in delivering excellent customer service and achieving business objectives.
• Stay up to date with developments in contact lens technology, products and clinical best practice.
• Ensure a clean, professional and welcoming clinical environment at all times.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Contact Lens Optician to join a busy, professional optical team based within the Trafford Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contact Lens Optician who enjoys providing high-quality clinical care, building strong patient relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Working Tuesday to Thursday, you will play an important role in providing contact lens services alongside the wider optical team.
