Qurate Retail Group is the largest player in video commerce (“vCommerce”), which includes video‑driven shopping across linear TV, e‑commerce sites, digital streaming and social platforms.

We are recruiting for a Consumer Insights Specialist, reporting into the UK Consumer Insights Manager, based at our Chiswick Park office, you will analyse internal and external trends to help identify opportunities, by helping key stakeholders understand what motivates customers and influences their behaviour.

Opportunity

You will play a key role in creating a customer centric culture, by delivering clear and actionable insights across the whole organization.

You will conduct primary and secondary research to gather insights about QVC UK’s customer and strategic opportunities to improve customer experience, expand our digital relevance, grow our customer base and drive growth.

You will influence ‘customer obsessed’ decision making by integrating business insights through the relevant methods of delivery including presentations and regular reporting.

You will keep the organization up to date with marketplace and consumer trends and provide relevant updates and findings.

You will analyze data sets to synthesize and produce hypotheses to support the end users.

You will build out QVC customer personas, including creative evaluation / development & research on QVC brand and customers.

You will closely monitor market retail, platform, technology and merchandising landscapes using platforms such as Euromonitor, Stylus, Statista, Qualtrics.

Your Impact
  • You will communicate relevant findings through various methods of reporting such as PowerPoint, Tableau Dashboard, Excel reports, Word documents.
  • You will present at senior meetings such as monthly town halls or other team meetings to embed knowledge and play a part in shaping a customer centric culture.
  • You will work with other functional stakeholders to share learnings, develop relevant KPI’s and build close working relationships to efficiently shape and collect marketplace data and insights.
  • You will drive business growth through advice / consulting / insights along the customer journey and around five core functions / processes: Merchandising, TV Sales & Distribution, Customer Trends & Marketing, E‑marketing & E‑Commerce, and Operations.
What You Bring
  • You will have understanding of databases and data mining.
  • You will select relevant third‑party resource and negotiate accordingly.
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python.
  • You will have experience as a research analyst within a research agency or in‑house role.
  • You will have experience running qualitative projects including writing briefs, recruitment, writing questionnaires, critiquing findings, building qualitative work including moderation and running face‑to‑face depth interviews.
