Qualifications

• Must have experience in management consulting in a consulting firm or a mix of consultancy and industry experience.
• Experience with direct materials is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and outstanding client management skills.
• Strong business problem solving with analytical and reporting abilities.
• Excellent presentation skills and potential for business development.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., TQM, Six Sigma, APEX) is a plus.
• Business fluency in English and ability to travel 30% of the time.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The role of the Manager is to apply strategic consultingexpertise in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business processoutsourcing and technology to take GEP to the next level. This manager levelconsultant will also manage and supervise the delivery of supply chainconsulting services and assist in development of new service

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contributingto the development and execution of the global strategy for theprocurement consultancy practice
• Owning client relationshipsand satisfaction levels
• Leading team thinking andefforts to ensure project/program objectives are being achieved
• Developing and coaching teammembers
• Contributing to teamunderstanding of client culture
• Identifying new businessopportunities and supporting the Program Manager/BD in efforts to expandclient relationship
• Managing multiple projectsconcurrently and delivering consistent positive results
• Developing sourcingstrategies & processes in line with clients’ business goals &policies
• Interfacing with client tounderstand their sourcing and procurement requirements
• Developing soundrecommendations contributing to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs,Transformation, etc.)
• Leading sourcing, RFQ events,auctions, supplier management and negotiations
• Creatively using data sourcesto develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses
• Delivering presentations andcommunicating confidently with the client

REQUIREMENTS

• Musthave management consulting experience in a consulting firm OR acombination of consultancy and industry experience
• Experience with direct materials is preferred
