Role Overview

Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist to join a friendly and cohesive team of radiologists at St George’s Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including general plain radiography, CT, ultrasound and MRI.
  • Oversee high‑quality clinical services within the Radiology Department.
  • Lead uoradiology MDTs, including bladder, renal, prostate, testicular and penile reporting and case management.
  • Participate in a full‑time diagnostic on‑call rota (≈1:15) and regular weekend working (time off in‑lieu).
  • Teach undergraduates and radiology registrars.
  • Support departmental teaching, training and quality improvement.
Qualifications
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists and CCT in Radiology (or equivalent).
  • Experience in uoradiology MDT delivery.
  • Strong diagnostic reporting skills with experience of general adult sessions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Hours

Full‑time job plan with approximately 1:15 on‑call rota and up to 5 weekend calls per year. Time in lieu available.
