Barts Health NHS Trust Whipps Cross Hospital Consultant in Stroke Medicine (2 Posts) 10 PA
Whipps Cross University Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust Group is looking for a full time Consultant Stroke Physician to be based on the Whipps Cross Hospital site.
The stroke patient pathway is an integral part of the Barts Health's policy to deliver high quality modern stroke care is delivered on 3 sites: Royal London Hospital (RLH), Whipps Cross University Hospital (WXUH) and Newham Hospital. At the RLH site there is a Hyperacute Stroke Unit (HASU) with 12 monitored beds for acute Thrombolysis and Thrombectomy and 14 acute stroke unit beds. The Newham ASU has 14 beds and the ASU at Whipps has 19 beds. There are specialist Stroke MDTs and TIA clinics on all three sites and early-supported discharge teams.

The successful applicant will provide medical cover for the ASU at Whipps Cross.
You must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and be on the Specialist Register.
