Pay: £42.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary (3 months)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Hybrid Working: 3 days per week in office

About the Role

Hertfordshire County Council's Family Safeguarding Team is seeking an experienced Consultant Social Worker to join the St Albans team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a pioneering model that focuses on keeping families together through collaborative, multi‑agency working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake care planning, assessments, and reviews for children and families.
  • Deliver welfare reports for conferences and court hearings.

  • Support the Family Safeguarding approach, including training in motivational interviewing.
What We're Looking For
