Social Worker - St Albans Family Safeguarding Team 👩💼👨💼

Location: Apsley, Hemel Hempstead 🏢
Pay: LTD/UMBRELLA £37/hr 💷

Main Duties & Responsibilities 📝

• Work within Hertfordshire County Council's Family Safeguarding Team West.
• Provide support for children and families, using the "Family Safeguarding" approach 👨👩👧👦.
• Collaborate with multi-agencies to achieve the best outcomes 🤝.
• Manage caseloads of under 20 children per Social Worker.
• Conduct assessments, care planning, reviews, and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings ⚖️.
• Participate in training, including motivational interviewing 💡.
• Receive regular supervision based on case risk.
• Use iPads and work from various county "Touchdown" locations 📱.
• Free on-site parking available 🚗.

Person Specification ⭐

• Qualified and Social Work England registered 🎓
• Minimum 1 year post-ASYE experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills ✍️🗣️
• Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures 📚
