A healthcare organization in the UK is inviting applications for a full-time Consultant Rheumatologist position at the Minerva Health Centre in Preston. The role involves joining a dynamic team and involves responsibilities including providing clinical supervision and engaging in educational activities. Applicants should be fully registered with the GMC and hold or be close to achieving a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Rheumatologist at the Minerva Health Centre in Preston. The post is full time (10 PAs) and offered as a substantive contract.
The Rheumatology Service in Central Lancashire is an established community‑based service. The Minerva Health Centre provides accommodation for a range of community teams and services that provide ongoing treatment and care to people with long‑term conditions. The service is part of an Integrated Musculoskeletal Service which includes rheumatology, MSK, physiotherapy, community pain and CFS service. In‑reach is provided to the local acute trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic consultant colleague to join this forward thinking, dynamic team. There is an extensive multi‑disciplinary team consisting of four Consultant Rheumatologists, a Consultant Physiotherapist, five Clinical Nurse Specialists, two Occupational Therapists, two Physiotherapists and a dedicated Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and have a License to Practice, hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within 6 months of attaining CCT at the time of interview.
