Consultant in General Radiology with special interest Urological & Gynaecological Imaging.
LNWUH NHS Trust is looking for a dynamic and motivated radiologist to join a team of 60 consultants, three staff grade doctors and 23 residents working collaboratively across the three sites to provide high quality imaging service.
The successful candidate will contribute to the broad spectrum of work undertaken by our consultant radiologists as detailed in the job description.
Post-holders will be expected to cover all sites as part of the acute Radiology management. Commitments will include relevant MDTs, imaging-guided procedures, plain radiograph, CT and MRI reporting.
Applications should contain names and addresses of three referees (one of which should be your current or most recent employer), details of GMC registration and CCT (or evidence of eligibility to apply for CCT). Applicants who apply for more than one post may not be considered.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration and be on the Specialist Register or be eligible for inclusion within six months of the interview date.
General responsibilities will include acute, elective and on call work. Teaching and training are actively encouraged. There will be an on-call commitment which will include weekend working. Opportunities for teaching and management are ample.
