Job summary

A leading mental health services provider in West Yorkshire seeks a Consultant Psychologist to deliver assessments and interventions in a specialist rehabilitation service. In this full-time role, you will work with adult male patients with complex mental health needs, contributing to their recovery and independence. Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Forensic) is mandatory.
• Significant post-qualification experience in mental health rehabilitation or secure settings is needed.
• Leadership and supervisory experience in mental health services is required.
• Strong understanding of recovery models and trauma-informed care.
• Experience in service development and audit is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to psychology staff and wider MDTs.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care planning.
