Consultant Psychologist (Part‑Time, Leeds, West Yorkshire)

Salary: £46,800 FTE (pro‑rata for 22.5 hours) OR Full time across two local sites

Hours: Permanent, 22.5 hours per week, to Full time 37.5 hours per week

Job Overview

This is a role where your clinical judgement matters. You'll shape individual and group interventions, influence MDT practice, and see outcomes move because of your work. Expect genuine autonomy, structured CPD and mentoring, funded qualifications, and clear routes into leadership—within a supportive, recovery‑focused adult service.

What you’ll do
  • Assess referrals, plan and deliver evidence‑based therapies (individual and group)
  • Manage a defined caseload and maintain high‑quality clinical documentation
  • Contribute to MDT reviews, share psychotherapeutic guidance, support audits/outcomes
  • Help refine service pathways and promote dignity, safety and recovery across the unit
What you’ll bring
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in a relevant Psychology discipline
  • Post‑graduate qualification with accreditation (BABCP, BCP, BPS or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in adult mental health / rehabilitation settings
  • Strong caseload management, group work and documentation skills
  • Desirable: DBT training/experience; HR20 report writing
