A leading healthcare provider in Chertsey is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary of £109,725 – £145,478 per annum, alongside generous recruitment and relocation bonuses. Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is a General Medical Council (GMC) Sponsor Employer. This Consultant Psychiatrist role attracts a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000 in addition to an £8,000 relocation allowance. The RRP is pro‑rata for part‑time staff.
As Consultant Psychiatrist you will take Responsible Clinician duties, lead ward rounds, support clinical decision‑making, and shape the service’s ongoing development. You will work closely with Home Treatment Teams, community services, and families to support safe discharge and recovery. The post‑holder will deliver consultant psychiatric input to inpatients admitted to the ward per the Acute Service Operational Policy and will provide clinical leadership and be actively involved in service improvement activities.
