A dedicated mental health service provider in York is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in forensic psychiatry. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care within a low secure mental health setting. The service is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in forensic psychiatry to work within the low secure male mental illness inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient community service in York.
The service is open to part-time and flexible working. The final program of activities will be worked out with the post holder on a ratio of 7.5 direct clinical care to 2.5 supporting professional activities.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. Applicants should be aware that individuals requiring a visa to work in the UK, the Trust only provides sponsorship for registered healthcare practitioner roles(this does not include Healthcare Support Workers). This is a 10 PA post plus a 3% category B availability for out of hours on-call duties.
