Job summary

ProfDoc is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a well-established mental health service near Reading on a permanent part-time basis. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose and treat individuals with a range of mental health conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include delivering expert assessments, formulating treatment plans, and contributing to regular clinical reviews.

Qualifications

• CCST/CCT in Psychiatry is required.
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnosis.
• Formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in regular clinical reviews and case discussions.
• Provide expert advice and support to colleagues to promote safe and effective practice.

Education

CCST / CCT (or equivalent) in Psychiatry
