Consultant Psychiatrist - Female Eating Disorders. We are seeking an experienced full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to work at Cygnet Hospital Ealing, providing senior medical cover for Sunrise Ward (a 14-bed highly specialised eating disorder service for women).
The post holder will be the Responsible Clinician, overseeing and maintaining the care of all ward inpatients as required, and will be responsible for auditing the medical services rendered at the ward to ensure high quality care in accordance with GMC standards and other relevant professional guidelines. This role offers the potential to progress to Medical Director Level through our management schemes.
Cygnet Hospital Ealing has a Good overall CQC rating and provides a welcoming environment with personalised treatment for up to 23 service users across two wards. Sunrise Ward focuses on highly specialised care for up to 14 women, including those with extremely low BMIs, with a phased treatment pathway aimed at helping each individual attain a healthy BMI and plan their journey through treatment. The service emphasises collaborative, multidisciplinary care tailored to individual needs.
