An exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join an integrated mental health team at HMP Wealstun. We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated mental health team at HMP Wealstun. HMP Wealstun is a category C prison located in Thorpe Arche, housing around 800 patients aged 21+. In this role, you will join an established and experienced mental health team that runs a nurse-led service focused on a medical model diagnosis for complex health needs. The psychiatrist's caseload will typically be 4-5 patients per day.
Hours
2.5 days per week, worked across Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional half day. The half day can be used to complete admin work on site.
Salary
You will receive an annual salary up to £189,900 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
