CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist for a brand new mental health hospital in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. The role focuses on assessment, treatment, and safe discharge of inpatients aged 18+, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and adherence to NICE guidelines.

The ideal candidate will hold MRCPsychiatry or an equivalent qualification with full GMC registration, and will lead CPA/ICR processes to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• MRCPsychiatry or equivalent required with GMC registration.
• Experience in mental health settings and acute inpatient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and discharge admitted patients safely.
• Lead QA, handle complaints, and ensure CPA and ICR compliance.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a brand new mental health hospital in Clacton On Sea, Essex area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

This mental health hospital provides an acute inpatient service for men and women aged 18+ specialising in the assessment and treatment of individuals in crisis or suffering from a significant mental health illness

**To be considered for this position you must have an MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration**

As the Consultant Psychiatrist your key responsibilities include:

• Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
• Quality assurance, complaints and co-production
• Delivery of NICE guidance
• Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Be innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions
• Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health
• Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, knowledge of and experience in purchaser/provider contractual issues

The successful Consultant Psychiatrist will receive an excellent salary of £160,000 - £165,000 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both full time and part time opportunities available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
