TipTopJob in the Essex area is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist for a brand new mental health hospital in Clacton on Sea. You will lead clinical care for adults 18+, perform comprehensive assessments, oversee treatment and discharge planning, and ensure high-quality care in line with NICE guidance.

This permanent role offers GBP165,000 per year with a GBP5,000 car allowance, plus 30 days leave, pension, life assurance, enhanced maternity, meals on duty, wellbeing and career development

Qualificações

• This role requires MRCPsychiatry or equivalent and full GMC registration.
• Experience leading inpatient psychiatry teams and quality standards.
• Knowledge of NICE guidelines and CPA/ICR processes.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a brand new mental health hospital in Clacton On Sea, Essex area. You will be working for one of UKs leading healthcare providers

This mental health hospital provides an acute inpatient service for men and women aged 18+ specialising in the assessment and treatment of individuals in crisis or suffering from a significant mental health illness

**To be considered for this position you must have an MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration**

As The Consultant Psychiatrist Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
• Medication management
• Quality assurance, complaints and co:production
• Delivery of NICE guidance
• Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Be innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions
• Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health
• Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, knowledge of and experience in purchaser/provider contractual issues
• Previous Consultant experience
