Job summary

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and FRCS (Paed Surgery) credentials required.
• GMC Specialist Register path (CCT/CESR CP) with date near interview.
• ATLS/APLS certification and BAPS membership are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-led paediatric surgery service with patient safety focus.
• Lead paediatric trauma care and Trauma MDTs with adult teams.
• Perform paediatric surgery lists and outpatient clinics; supervise juniors.
• Engage in outreach clinics and prenatal counselling where applicable.
• Participate in teaching, governance and audit activities.
